We go out on the Paradise Day Sail Tuesday-Friday. It is a wonderful day. It starts with breakfast at Ric's Place just over the Dutch bridge between 8 and 8:30. Then we go out to the boat and set sail. We sail up the western coast of St. Maarten to see the beautiful sights on land and water. We stop 2-3 times for snorkeling, swimming, noodle-ing, lazing, eating and thirst-quenching. We go up along the French coast (St. Martin) and then out toward Anguilla before heading back to Simpson Bay and then Ric's Place usually by 4. It is a lovely day. We cook lunch on board at the long stop: Caribbean chicken, green salad, rice salad, French bread; later on, snacks and chocolate. Breakfast, snorkel gear, noodles, snacks, drinks (open bar, juice, beer, wine, famous rum punch and soft drinks), lunch, Captain and Hostess are all included. It costs $95.pp. ($50. for kids 6-12; kids 5 and under are free) The boat is licensed to take 22 plus crew but we usually limit it to 18 as that is still comfortable and fun to be with others. There are no hidden costs for this trip. Money is only needed for souvenirs (t-shirts, tanks, coozies, hats and cookbooks) or tips for the crew at your discretion.
